10 Best Gifts for the Female Traveler

This holiday season what do you get the woman in your life who seems to value experiences over things? Whether she is jet setting off to work or taking a fun holiday, these ten gifts are sure to make her voyage more comfortable, organized, and enjoyable.

I travel frequently for work and pleasure as does my husband, these are some of the items we like to bring on our travels to make life easier.

1- The Baggu 3D Zip Pouch Set- $34

These pouches are incredibly versatile and lightweight. Many of the travelers in your life already have some sort of packing cube, but might need an extra organizer to keep cosmetics or dirty clothes separate from the rest of their items. I love the fun color options you get and the three different sizes that are included in the set. Bonus, these pack down to virtually nothing when they aren’t in use.

2- Calpak Power Luggage Tag- $32

You know when you’re in the airport desperately searching for an outlet and you end up sitting on the floor near a wall because there aren’t any other options? Now with this power bank luggage tag hybrid, you can charge your phone anywhere you please. The vegan leather is soft and durable and it comes in several chic colors.

3- Slip Silk Eye Mask- $50

This luxe eye mask is a serious upgrade from the scratchy, irritating, synthetic eye masks that are provided on long haul flights. Silk also helps de-puff the eyes and makes her feel like a princess even while sitting in coach.

4- Jao Hand Refresher mini- $10

I don’t go anywhere without my Jao. It is a multipurpose disinfectant meets aromatherapy session in one. Use it on your underarms to deodorize after a long travel day, or simply use it as a hand sanitizer. It is less drying than a traditional sanitizer and it combines tea tree, lavender, geranium, eucalyptus, sage, camomille, and calendula to provide a relaxing and uplifting scent to the user. You’ll probably want one for yourself too!

5- Glossier ‘The Makeup Set’- $40

This set of everyday essentials is perfect for any woman on the go. It includes cream blush, their AMAZING tubing mascara, and famous ‘Boy Brow’ brow gel. The mascara doesn’t smudge or run and she can remove it with soap and water… no need to bring along makeup remover! If you aren’t sure what colors to select, go for the clear brow gel, and ‘haze’ or ‘puff’ in the blush.

6- Gin Gins Ginger Candy- $17.26

This set of 12 ginger candy travel packs are the perfect stocking stuffer for that traveler in your life. Planes, trains, and automobiles can all make us nauseous from time to time, then add on eating airline food… Needless to say, these ginger candies are where it’s at when it comes to upset tummies and nausea.

7- The Lunata Jet Setter Kit- $200

This is the big-ticket item on the list for good reason. The kit includes a salon-quality hairstyling iron that is completely cordless and rechargeable. Beyond that, it also comes with a beautiful train case which is perfect for her carry on, a universal adapter plug, and the recharging dock for easy charging on the go. They even throw in a handy silicone heat protector that goes on the tip of the iron so it can be packed away even while it is still hot. If you’ve heard the traveler in your life complain about blowing fuses when she is traveling, or she is sick of carrying around tangled cords, you gotta hook her up! I bring mine to the gym and on every trip I take, it is so convenient and the charge holds for 2-3 styling sessions on my super long, thick hair.

8- Travel jewelry organizer- $10

This one is a no brainer! It looks and feels luxe, and at only $10 for a high-quality organizer this is a great stocking stuffer or stand alone gift.

9- Gorilla Pod- Tripod- $15

Not everyone has an Instagram husband to help them get the most fire of content for the ‘gram. This tripod will help. You can put it on just about anything and it comes with attachments to hook up her cell phone or camera depending on what she needs that day.

10- The Best American Travel Writing series- $13

I have been reading this series for the past 5 years. This year’s essays and short stories are deliciously immersive and inspiring. Reading these books is almost as good as going on an actual trip.
